Is Tape Useful With A Sabre Saw Blade?
When using power tools such as Jigsaws, you might often use tape to mark out where you’re cutting. It can be very useful, as you can easily see both the blade and your cut. If you do anything wrong, you can stop before you mess up even more. Is it the same with a sabre saw though?
The main difference between a Jigsaw and a Sabre saw is that they’re designed for different things. A jigsaw is often used for neat projects where precision is necessary, whereas a sabre saw is used for demolition work and just cutting things up. Although they can be used for projects, they’re not the most ideal tool.
Tape can be useful when using a sabre saw if you need your cut to be in a general area, but they’re a lot harder to control so you’re less likely to get a straighter cut. This leads to the conclusion that tape isn’t very useful when using a sabre saw as you’re more likely to use it for demolition work rather than getting a precise cut. Having said that, if you’re using a sabre saw to get a precise cut then tape might prove useful.
